ABOUT THE CUSTOMER
The client comes from over four decades of experience in Human Resources, Recruitment and Background checks. They had experienced gaps and flaws in the entire people supply chain, from identifying to onboarding. One of the key pain areas was the time taken from selection to on-boarding, pending critical background checks. They wanted to build a tech enabled platform, where users can securely update their personal records and upload their identification documents to keep their background checks recent and up to date.
THE PROBLEM
A Fintech start-up building a highly secured digital identity and biometrics platform. The key challenges were to keep the UI very simple yet intuitive for a wide variety of users to ensure platform security and scalability, bearing in mind potentially millions of users with billions of personal records.
THE SOLUTION
A highly secured and scalable app, ready to be downloaded and used by millions of users. A simple and intuitive user interface, considering users from all social and educational backgrounds. Higher profitability for employers, as new hires do not spend any time on bench, waiting for background check completion.
The idea was to shorten the time from candidate selection to on-boarding from upwards 3 weeks to less than 3 hours. Thereby providing significant time and cost savings for employers.
The platform would be further utilised to provide several talent analytics to the employers.
