ABOUT THE CUSTOMER

Our client is the biggest sports technology company globally. They collect and analyse sports data for bookmakers, national and international sports federations, and media companies.

The client’s global marketing team uses Salesforce Pardot to run multiple marketing campaigns for different customer segments across different geographies.

THE PROBLEM

The client had initially engaged an external vendor to provide Salesforce Pardot experts to work alongside their HQ marketing team to design, draft and execute multiple marketing campaigns, with inputs from their regional marketing teams. The vendor however, was unable to provide a stable resource with enough expertise not just to take inputs from the client but lead their client marketing teams to utilise and leverage the Salesforce Pardot product capabilities fully.

The client had also subscribed to multiple other lead capture and process automation systems. However, their existing vendors were not providing them with the required level of support in utilising these systems fully.

THE SOLUTION

We provided the client with a stable team of junior and mid-level Salesforce engineers. While the junior resource took care of the day to day tasks of designing marketing emails in Pardot. The mid-level engineer was fully engaged with the client to identify and understand their various Salesforce subscriptions, as well as their utilisation or lack thereof. Also, consult with the marketing team on how to best leverage their various Salesforce subscriptions.

In addition to the mid-level resource, our offshore Salesforce R&D team was also involved in doing multiple POCs and projects, notably: Automating leads reporting for the global marketing team.

PROJECT SCOPE

  • Automatically capture all prospects created in the previous month within Account Engagement

  • Identify which prospects were assigned as leads for targeted marketing follow-ups

  • Synchronise data into Salesforce for real-time dashboards and reports

TECHNICAL SCOPE OF WORK

  • API integration between systems: Seamless connection of Salesforce and Pardot via API to ensure data synchronization and accuracy.

  • Scheduled Monthly Automation: Development of a scheduled process to extract and sync prospect and lead data monthly for reporting.

  • Data Logic for Prospect Retrieval: Designed and developed the logic to retrieve all prospects created the previous month and identify those assigned as leads.

  • Salesforce Configuration Setup: Setup of custom objects and fields to store monthly metrics, plus reports and dashboards for analytics.

  • Automated Email Notifications: Monthly summary emails with topline statistics and trends sent to designated product owners.
