Cost Effective Solution for Storage of Files

Scenario

Our Client requires large amounts of file storage per customer. Storing these files in Salesforce would lead to an unacceptable cost for additional Salesforce storage capacity. Our Client requested a way to store this large volume of files externally without the purchase of additional Salesforce storage. Ennovision created the solution to store the Salesforce files to an external storage by still having the upload and access controls within Salesforce.

Solution Offered

Ennovision proposed a solution to handle the files in external storages like Amazon S3, Google Drive, or Microsoft OneDrive. These are lower cost alternatives to additional Salesforce storage.
Ennovision built a customised application that would allow the users to upload/edit/delete/view the files within Salesforce.
Uploaded files are securely handled in the external storage and a secured link is provided to users for handling the files.
